simple.Capital(bundle_webinar)

Watch the recording of our webinar where we walk you through the bundle companies, the investment opportunity and the deal terms as well as answer some FAQ.

simple.Capital(FAQ)
Q1: What are the minimum and maximum investment amounts?

A: The minimum investment amount is $1000/share which is invested into all the companies in the bundle. There is no maximum amount per se, beyond the round limit, but as there are multiple companies and therefore multiple rounds to fill, this shouldn’t be an issue.

Q2: What is the investment term and expected ROI?

A: Investing in Venture Capital is not comparable to a traditional stock or asset class; one needs to take a slightly longer-term view and rather think of it as investing into a company. The maturation of the investment could be anywhere from 5-7 years, depending on the liquidity event. We generally target a 5x valuation on exit compared to entry.

Q3: How liquid is my investment?

A: Due to the long cycle nature of a VC investment, one generally will see returns in 5-7 years. However, because one is purchasing preference shares, one is able to trade these shares as needed. Speak to the simple.Capital() team who will be glad to assist with a valuation as well as advise on the OTC (Over The Counter) trading process.

Q4: What does simple.Capital() look for when selecting companies for the bundles?

A: When looking at early stage investment opportunities, we look for companies who are tech-enabled, led by founders with proven track records, that have post-recurring monthly revenue, with IP that sits / is planned to sit in investor-friendly jurisdictions, with a massively transformative purpose (MTP).

Q5: When will these companies be profitable?

A: Due to the early stage nature of these companies, many are not yet profitable, even though they have recurring monthly revenue. This is because they are scaling massively and are re-investing revenue into the business, in addition to raising capital. This is why we look at other key unit economics such as MoM and YoY growth, CAC (Customer Acquisition Cost) and LTV (Customer Lifetime Value) when undertaking our Due Diligence process.
